The United States of America prides itself on it's democratic government, but the power of the federal government todays threatens American democracy. The Federal Government should grant states more powers to govern themselves. States' Rights, in United States history, advocated the strict limitation of the advantages of the federal government to those powers assigned to it in the Constitution of the United States, and reserving to the several states all other powers not explicitly forbidden

government programs of the nation. Further taking the economic perspective into account, this would even help the nation as a whole by increasing its total production and achieving economic growth. This in turn could lead to greater equality amongst the citizens.
In conclusion, I believe that the states should get more powers to better there region, in addition, all states would better their environmental, political and social attributes and the Nation would be economically efficient.
