In conclusion Caesar was given power, land and money which made him a popularis. Crassus was made the peoples person due to the triumvirate and died a hero, killed in a trap. Lastly Pompey gained more power and was ultimately forced to choose his friends and enemies, which ended his life. The greatest saying is by Caesar himself "hoc voleurunt'., you made me do it, explaining Pompey's death and why there was a civil war.
