America declared independence on July 4th 1776, although America was not
united when it begun, it soon became united through common hard-times and
great leaders. America was discovered and settled by many different cultures
and all of the cultures clashed from the start. After studying the colonies

made up of: religious bonding, leadership abilities, their economic

taxed to death, they had enough. The colonist finally choose sides and went
to war. On April 19th, 1775 the first shots of the American Revolution were
fired and the war lasted until July 4th 1776 when Independence was claimed.
In the end the colonist finally "glued" together and won their freedom and
went on to start a country that promoted the freedom of man. One common goal
shared by all Americans was the right to freedom.
