As soon as American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of
the World Trade Center, America changed. America was no longer a virgin
to the evils and hatred that the real world offered. The ideals that
America was impervious to attacks and threats were shattered, and fear
took its place. Will terrorists hijack another plane? Will mysterious
bombings happen? Could my mail be infected with anthrax? Though many
of these fears slowly subsided, they

patriotism. Not all the changes in the culture of America were
improvements in patriotism. Since all of the hijackers were Muslim, it
created a great fear to some people. Some people had trouble trusting
or being around Arab people cause of their fears. Thankfully, most of
this fear has subsided. The cultural aspect of America had pretty much
a unified reaction towards patriotism because of September 11th.
Personal changes were all together something different.
