America, and the British were beginning to try to influence the Native Americans to attack the western settlers. Great Britain and America's greed for land proved to be the origin of many problems that developed on the frontier. However, they soon realized the frontier was wild and untamed, just like the newly born America. America may have escaped the British rule, but the problems of the frontier still followed her into her newly won independence.
