Method
First of all I gathered all the equipment that I needed to carry out experiment then we could make a start. This experiment that I am carrying out will show me what effects temperature will have on the amount of pigment released by beetroot when it is placed in water. After I gathered up all the apparatus I then had to use the cork borer, which was 6 mm to bore out cylinders of beetroot

curvette filled with the beetroot solution into the colourimeter and leave it for ten minutes. When it is ready to be removed I will remove it with tweezers so as not to influence my results. I will read the results and place them in the table. I would do this for all the different temperatures and then I would repeat the experiment about 5 times to make sure everything is accurate and to get an average
