When we think of the portrayal of Lucifer in the different texts, films, and religions, there are many things that are common traits. Using two different sources, the movies End of Days (1999, directed by Peter Hyams) and Devil's Advocate (1997, directed by Taylor Hackford), I will compare them to the Bible to show the ways that Lucifer (or the more commonly known as Satan) is portrayed, both visually and behaviourally. …showed last 75 words of 1433 total…Although, at the end of Devil's Advocate they do show Lucifer in his "true" form at different stages of his existence. In the bible and in both movies Lucifer is portrayed as an evil character. For the most part, the Lucifer's characteristics are similarly portrayed in both movies. With no reference to any character traits from the Bible, the directors or screenwriters of each movie created Lucifer's characteristics with similar perceptions of what evil entails.
