Somme made 420,000 British, 200,000 French, 500,000 Germany died, and for Verdun, 550,000 French, 434,000 Germany died. This was not a small number. That's why from the beginning, it was deadly. Million's of people, died. From this moment we should keep the peace in this earth for our life.
