Knowing that the end does not justify the means gives a good reason for why research should not include purposely harming newly formed embryos. The research is acceptable if the embryo died naturally, and it is also acceptable in the placenta as seen in Family Law, just as long as the baby was not purposely put at risk. If the research continued safely and morally, it could change and save the lives of millions forever.
