Salvador Dali is one of the most universally famous artists of the 20th centaury. Dali was born in Figueras in Spain on the 11th of May 1904. Dali was a difficult child but he was also very talented and in 1921 he went to The School Of Fine Arts in Madrid. After a while Dali began to think that he was better than the rest of the pupils attending The School Of Fine Arts and that he

would then stand for death with ants eating away at the clock, what looks a coffin, an old mouldy egg two more melted clocks, but if you look at the small tree the branch almost looks like a finger pointing back to birth again.
This isn't Dali's only painting (he did many more), but this is my favourite and that's why I chose to write about it. Here are a few more of his paintings.
