…showed last 75 words of 851 total…Galilei (1564-1642) Galileo was born in Pisa which is in Italy. Galileo was at first taught by monks but soon entered the University of Pisa to study medicine. The university wasn't much of what he wanted, though it did give him a good introduction to Aristotelian Physics. Galileo we mainly interested in falling bodies, swinging weights, and planets. Let me tell you that he managed to contribute quite a lot to the subject of physics.
