Citizens, called Puritans, wanted to see more reforms done to the Anglican Church, which was first established by King Henry VII. However, if they had given their attention to what their subjects had to say about the church, rebellion and chaos would not have broken out. Then again, if they hadn't opposed them either, Puritans would not have colonized in the Americas and established the United States.
