Religion is a very controversial subject in today's political scene. Stephen L. Carter wrote an article, "The Culture of Disbelief," about religion in today's political society. It includes how the American culture is taught to hide their religious beliefs to be politically correct. My peers and I express our various opinions toward Mr. Carter's article. Stephen L. Political leaders want the public to change or hide our beliefs so society will run more smoothly. I agree with Carter that it is ridiculous that society has to hide our religious values to protect the government, but I do believe that some religious activities should not be publicized.
