There are two polio vaccines that are used throughout the world today. There is the oral polio vaccine and the injected polio vaccine. The injection vaccine was invented first. invented. The main carriers of the Polio disease was children and the Oral Polio Vaccine better for use on children. If these vaccines were not invented imagine how Polio would have spread. Dr. Jonas Salk and Dr. Albert Sabin are both very important people in the history of medicine and science. We must thank these two for their vaccines because if they were not invented the Polio disease would have still been running wild today.
