A phobia is a constant fear of an object, place or situation. Some very simple phobias are of insects, infections, and flying. There are thousands and thousands of phobias. Millions of people have one kind of phobia, like the fear of flying. Some phobias, only a dozen people in the world have, like kathisophobia, fear of sitting down.
