have read the play to understand the full picture Shakespeare tries to paint. I think the film was trying to say that you can have romantic love, but to have true love in every aspect of the word there needs to be trust. If any trust is broken then terrible things can occur when the green-eyed monster, jealousy, comes out and reputations can be ruined, for those involved and for those who were not intended.
