Another weakness he has is his love for women. This is clear when he ends up living with Circe for a year. He also stayed with and made love to Calypso for seven years in Ogygia.
Obviously, Odysseus has many special attributes. These characteristics help him on his journey back home. He shows love for his friends, family, and home. He's kind and patient. He also has flaws that we as humans can relate to.
