Emily Dickinson has written many outstanding literary pieces, including poetry. Isolated from the world after her father's death, followed immediately by the death of her mother, Emily had many feelings and emotions, and nothing but a pen and paper to let them out on. She continued on with her life, writing poetry and escaping into the world of written literature. Finally after her death in 1886, Livinia Dickinson and Mabel Todd published her poetry
