When exploring the ideologies of nationalism, different interesting facts concerning state and nation are revealed. Both state and nation are independently operating entities. The United States is the perfect example because it contains both states and is a nation. The United States however is also a tricky subject due to the fact that it lacks some of the other forms of nationalism that other nations may practice, such as a national language.

be the answer to the flourish in nationalism is that the political and ethnic movements are producing leaders with such ideals that they are teaching the people to behave in a nationalist manner.
The other authors also had a similar outlook as to why there is an influx of natioalism but, most of them speculate that, much like other times when natioalism has flourished, the need and desire for nationalism will soon deteriorate.
