As far as the American society at large knows, Mexican Americans had little or nothing to do with the development of our beloved country. …showed last 75 words of 622 total…the public school system. Hispanics have been making strides in American history ever since 1492, when Columbus sailed across the ocean in the name of Spain. Hopefully one day this type of information that shines a positive light on the Mexican American/ Hispanic community will be common knowledge to all Americans. Till that our children will continue to be ill informed as to what truly is their history, so as to instill a pride into them.
