Its no surprise that Hollywood has a bad reputation for misrepresenting the Native Americans in old western films, but Little Big Man is a much-needed addition to the huge number of cowboys and Indians movies out there. It challenges the bias that western movies have always held, and gives a fresh perspective from the Native Americans' side.
