To conclude I would say that the growth of judicial review cases and the impact of the Human Rights Act have increased awareness for the need to keep the judicial function separate from the other branches of Government, and while constitutional reform within the British legal system is continuing, it should not be done at the cost of damaging the integrity of a system which has served the country well for so many years.
