Coenzymes- organic cofactors, some vitamins. Irreversible Inhibitors- bond to active site and permanently cripple the enzyme. Competitive Inhibitors- substances that prevent an enzyme from functioning by mimicking substrate, can be overcome by adding more substrate. Noncompetitive Inhibitor- substance that prevents an enzyme from functioning, attach at some other place and distort active site so substrate cannot attach.
