There are many problems with Latin America's economic development. Even though Latin America is working on being economically sound, there are still glitches in the system. The economic policies of Latin America negate democracy in many ways. This includes the economic polices after the 1930's and after the 1980's. only helped the rich. The social structure has only got worse. With these new economic developments the impoverished have increased. Neoliberalism has also highly degraded and made the lives of women more difficult than they already have been. It is time for a new economic policy in Latin America.
