The reason Canada is the respectable middle power status that is enjoyed today is because of the Battle for Vimy Ridge, the Battle of Ortona, and the Norad Defense- Avro Arrow. Although there have been mistakes along the way Canada is still the best country in the world to live in and is even acknowledged that way by the world.
