With the fractional ownership companies having more purchasing power, this drives the price of the aircraft down. If the manufacturers reduce the price of the aircraft there will be less money for new development. The manufacturers are counting on new aircraft to be more attractive to the new buyers hence increasing sales throughout 2012.
