Although the novel is a very long read, I believe that the themes and messages that are delivered can relate to anyone's struggles in life, I know several of the themes related to my own life. This is a novel about self-discovery, finding out who you really are, and what your capable of accomplishing. For anyone who has a quest or a long-term goal in life, I suggest reading Cold Mountain.
