of all, not all of our government officials are unaffected by crimes concerning race or prejudices, and, thus, innocent people are still condemned to die. Second, capital punishment does not deter future criminals for committing these heinous crimes.
Capital punishment must be abolished. It is very sad that some people are disturbed enough to commit such violent and hateful crimes, but having the power to kill does not make the situation better by any means.
