During the last Christmas season, when expected to make most of their year's income, retailers fell short of their goal. I also believe this because the retailers that sell teen and kids goods did better then the retailers that don't sell anything for teen and kids because the kids and teen retailers promoted their goods better then the other retailers did. When consumers only have so much consumers to spend during the holiday season they are very selective of what they will buy and make purchases mainly for their children.
