This story's theme is love. This story has so much twists and turns all because of Catherine and Heathcliff's love. Their love was so deep that it bred hatred in Heathcliff. This caused their love to be passed down to the next generation. By reading this story, I can get a new perspective of love. In common love stories, the story line is about the beauty of love. author allowed Cathy and Hareton to marry each other so as to end the story completely. On the whole, I enjoyed this book very much as Emily Bronte was very skilful in bringing out the love that Catherine and Heathcliff had for each other. This book also gave me a very different perspective of love. I now understand that love is not just a sweet thing, but it can also lead to hatred and destruction.
