Ben Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was an inventor, scientist, statesman, as well as a diplomat. He was also an author and publisher of the Poor Richard: An Almanack. The almanac was famous for its practical advice expressed in short sayings, called "maxims". Born as the 10th son to Josiah Franklin and Abiah Folger from a family of 17 children. He went on and married Deborah Read Rogers. They had two sons

took many days to write because it had to have the basic rights for all of the people and states. When it came time to write the Constitution, he had many good ideas from Europe that he wanted to add. He wanted our Constitution to be outstanding. When it was completed, everyone would then be able to sign and they would become a union.
He would die at the age of 84 in Philadelphia on April 17, 1790.
