From this film, we are given quite a strong impression of American society, mainly, the strong value of friendship and the contrast between the affluent and impoverished societies in America. We are also shown some stereotypes of American society, which are not necessarily commonplace. These include the gang fights and the forceful police. As for the film itself, it is a well-made and well-directed film which shows a lot about American culture and values.
