Many aspects of American life were being pushed to change by some groups, while other groups were happy with the way things were. Political, economic, and social areas were all under controversy. With all of the new inventions such as autos and other factory products, not enough families could make enough to buy all these things and keep the industry prospering. The 1920s will always be looked back upon as a fascinating time that contradicts itself in just about every aspect it can.
