The only quibble is over which truths are absolute and which truths might change over the course of time (i.e. relative). To adhere to a position advocating that all metaphysical truth is relative is clearly absurd. Not the least so because such a claim is only meaningful if it is an absolute in the exact sense which it is denying to be possible.
